SAFIA wins the DeepTech Award 2024 in the category Sustainability and Social Impact

The 9th DeepTech Awards were presented at the Holzmarkt in Berlin. SAFIA was nominated in the category of Sustainability and Social Impact alongside AdaptX Systems and Blue Skies Minerals GmbH. Deep Tech Berlin is a campaign by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises and has been conducted since 2015. The goal is to support Berlin-based companies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Web3: DLT; Blockchain, NFT & Metaverse; Social & Sustainable Impact; Robotics, as well as Photonics & Quantum Technologies, and to promote Berlin as a DeepTech hub both nationally and internationally.

The Senator for Economic Affairs, Franziska Giffey, personally presented the awards. SAFIA was honored with the prestigious prize. According to the press release of the DeepTech Award, SAFIA was recognized as a "mold hunter." SAFIA Technologies GmbH specializes in particle-based rapid testing methods for detecting contaminants in food, with a focus on mycotoxins. Their tests enable the simultaneous detection of multiple toxins, providing a faster, more cost-effective, and user-friendly alternative to traditional methods.
